This artwork captures the lively atmosphere of Copenhagen City Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen). In the foreground, the Dragon Fountain with its turquoise-green sculptures and flowing water stands out, while pigeons perch on its figures. Behind it rises the striking red-brick Copenhagen City Hall, adorned with towers, spires, and golden details, glowing against a warm sunset sky. To the left, the Palace Hotel with its tall tower completes the scene, while people walk, cycle, and gather across the square, adding a sense of everyday life to the romantic depiction.
